Wedding Cakes

This was for an intimate wedding at a chapel in Gatlinburg. The lady who ordered the cake for her brother and his fiance said it
was perfect for the occasion.

This four-tiered cake was for a Christmas wedding. The client wanted almond, so I did a vanilla latte-almond filling. The icing was buttercream with fondant ribbon matching the piping on the bride's gown and fondant pearls.

This bride requested lots of pearls on a white buttercream-covered lemon cake with lemon filling. The celebration was a "speak-easy" theme, and the cake fit very well with the groom's Jim Beam cake.

This was a three-tiered strawberry cake with local in-season strawberries. What a gorgeous color and fresh berry taste! The bride chose a romantic Willow Tree topper for her cake, and the fountain was a beatiful addition to the fairy tale outdoor wedding at a nearby vineyard. (She later ordered a birthday cake for her new husband of the same flavor as the wedding cake.)

This was for the Heaton-Hollier wedding. The bride chose a dense chocolate cake for the top and bottom tiers, and a light vanilla for the middle tier. The florist added the fresh roses and the family chose a rhinestone H for the cake topper.

Large Celebration Cakes

This was a full-sheet chocolate cake for
a groom who loved the Buckeyes. The Ohio State
logo was done in Color Flow, and the corner decoorations
were done in fondant.
The sea shells on this wedding cake were done in
white, milk chocolate, and marbled chocolate. They were
dusted with colored dusts to give them a sparkle.

The topper was simply three chocolate starfish and some fondant pearls.

My goodness! Seventy years with the same person!
That really deserves a celebration!
White chocolate numbers and fondant roses on a
vanilla cake with buttercream icing.

This four-tiered almond and chocolate cake with fondant drape and
chunky pearls was for the Smiths' 50th Anniversary.

These cakes were for a husband and wife surprise birthday luau.

The island theme was perfect for the cakes!

It was fun matching the colors in the napkins to the flowers on the cake border.

I was asked to make this cake for a couple celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.

Amazingly, this cake made it all the way to Maryland without any problems.

Holiday Cakes

These cakes were made for a variety of events from Halloween through Christmas.

This haybale cake was for a 15th birthday party at a local corn maze.

The scarecrow was made from fondant and gumpaste.

This haybale cake was donated to the Crumley House auction at the Johnson City Country Club in October. It raised $100 for the event.

A cake with a fondant cornocopia and beautiful polished leaves.

The candy clay fruit and vegetables filled the cornocopia.

Adventure Cakes

This cake, complete with a hand-sculpted Yoda, was for a 7-year-old Star Wars fan.

This was a vanilla cake for a very mature 7-year-old

Clemson fan. These were royal icing letters that are

standing up on the cake.

This cake was for a teenage bibliophile who was reallyinto Stephen King novels, so I put several of his books into the design. Notice the lighthouse from Storm of the Century, a pet grave from Pet Sematary, and the hedge maze from The Shining.

What new 40-year-old wouldn't like to be reminded of

his mortality with a graveyard cake that isn't just hinting

that he's "over the hill" he's actually in the valley.

This graveyard cake is a variation on the original. Notice the stairs and the water feature when you come to the crypt to visit poor Fuji, who also (luckily) turned 40.

"Charlie Brown" was Kyle's CB handle when he

worked as a trucker. I hope he keeps on truckin'

for a very long time!

Destiny's favorite movie was "The BEE Movie," so what better way to celebrate her birthday than to have a bee hive cake on a sheet cake with lots of yummy buttercream icing and cute fondant honey bees.

Everyone loves a good adventure. What better place to have one than at a birthday party?
These cakes were designed for young boys' birthday party themes.

This train was created in fondant to replicate the NS engine in the foreground.

The "bird's eye view" shows the tunnel and landscaping.

With this cake, you might just wonder what's really going to get eaten.

It was fun turning a mountain board into a cake.

A really cool metallic robot cake from the
Transformers movie.

A destructive Transformer battle!

Fancy Cakes

This was a towering Topsy Turvy cake in the Mad Hatter style of Alice in Wonderland.

This cake was for a young lady who owns a gorgeous
English sheep dog. Her mom asked that I include "Baylee"
on the cake, so I even gave her a bowl with some
chocolate dog food.

This cake was a surprise for a friend of my daughter's. Her work staff wanted to wish her well while she's off for some cancer surgery. Best wishes, Angie!

Brad loves chocolate, but Jennifer loves vanilla. They didn't argue
on their wedding anniversary; they just ordered one of each!
Compromise can be so tasty!

By all means, fifty four years of marriage deserves a reward! This couple celebrated with a chocoholic cake with raspberry filling. The highlight was chocolate fondant roses and chocolate fillagree.

How yummy! Chocolate packages for a bridal shower.

This cake was for my daughter's 17th birthday.

This was for Finley's first birthday celebration.

Jillian's fourteenth birthday cake.

Emma's cake had an edible crown and lots of tiny flowers, ruffles, and drop decorations.

This princess cake was for another princess named Emma, who wanted a tiara and fondant ribbon roses.
A closeup of the tiara.

A chocolate cake with candy clay roses.

A delicate cake for a very special friend.

A hip birthday cake for a 21 year old.

A trendy anniversary cake.
